Pass The Test
How To Pass the South Carolina Driver's License Test
The best way to pass any written test is with proper preparation. The South Carolina permit test and driver’s license tests are no exception. If you want to pass, we suggest you keep the following tips in mind.
- Study hard and often. Between the state driver’s manual and free South Carolina DMV permit practice test/driving test options on this site, you have no excuse for feeling uncomfortable or being caught off guard on exam day. Make sure you have a firm grasp on the types of test questions you’ll be seeing on the DMV test and a thorough knowledge of road rules and signs.
- Don’t panic if you hit a question or two you’re not sure about. Remember, you don’t need to get 100%, you just need to pass. Take your time reading the question and narrow down the answers to as few options as possible and make an educated guess if you’re unsure.
- Set yourself up for success. Wear something comfortable on exam day. Lay out your clothes the night before so you feel good while you take the test. Have your paperwork ready to go the night before as well, which should in turn help you get a good night’s sleep. If you show up feeling relaxed and confident it will show in your results.
