How To Pass the Wyoming Driving Permit Test
If you want to pass your driver’s license test on the first try and graduate from just having your permit, the following tips might prove helpful:
Practice as often as possible. The beauty of preparing for your driving test today is the number of resources available. You don’t need to simply rely on the Wyoming driver handbook or materials supplied by your driving instructor, you have sites like this that offer you realistic practice tests to help you prepare for the written knowledge test. For your driving skills test, you need to get out and use that permit as often as possible as well. The more comfortable you are behind the wheel, and with the practice tests, the more likely you’ll pass your tests when the day arrives.
Drive where you’ll be tested. If you know where your driving skills test is going to be held, make sure you drive in that area and familiarize yourself with the speed limits, street signs, and any potential hazards. You’ll want to minimize surprises on exam day.
Give your car an inspection the night before the exam – make sure the windshield and windows are clean, adjust your mirrors and check the AC, turn signal, wipers, lights, defrost, emergency brake, horn and hazard lights to make sure they’re all in functional condition.
Put together a pre-test packet the night before. Assemble all of the necessary paperwork like your proof of registration, insurance and permit the night before the exam and either place it in your car or have it set out so you don’t have to worry about finding them in the morning before going to take your test.
