All of the book learning in the world can’t prepare you for real life driving experiences and learning to share the road. Learning how to share the road with other users is an important part of being a responsible Washington driver. As you drive it’s important that you’re paying attention to your surroundings including changing weather conditions and emergency vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists. It can seem like a good idea to try to beat the light or squeeze in ahead of another driver, it is important to remember other drivers have a right to their safety as well. By being patient and following the rules of the road, you will help keep your fellow Washington motorists safe.
