California Sharing the Road Test

All of the book learning in the world can’t prepare you for real life driving experiences and learning to be part of the driving environment and sharing the road with others. Gaining the knowledge and skills to cooperatively use our streets and highways with other users is necessary to be a safe driver. When you are behind the wheel, it’s important that you’re paying attention to the driving conditions and be prepared to yield to other vehicles, pedestrians, and even animals. It can seem like a good idea to floor it through a light before it turns red, it is important to remember that everyone has a right to use the road safely.
