At the end of the day, you’re attending a truck driving school to find a job. Good schools will help you find high quality employers in Virginia that are looking for new truck drivers. Ask them about their job placement percentage and where many of their students end up after graduating.

Training offered

Some schools will offer extensive classroom time and hands-on training time. Some will allow you to drive several different trucks while others only provide exposure for exactly what you are training for.  

Instructors

If possible, see if you can talk with one of the instructors. Some schools have one instructor while others have a team of instructors. Online reviews may also talk about instructors, so if you notice one particular instructor that gets great reviews try to sign up for one of their classes.
