How To Get A Mississippi Motorcycle License

This site offers a Mississippi motorcycle practice test to help people working toward their Mississippi motorcycle permit or Mississippi motorcycle license. To be a licensed rider you’ll need to earn a regular class R license, and then a motorcycle endorsement on top of that license. To do so, you’ll need to complete a written knowledge test as well as a road test where you’ll need to demonstrate your skills. Applicants that are 17 and 18 will need a parent or guardian’s signature and proof of a finished driver’s training program before being eligible to take the endorsement test.

Once you’ve moved to Mississippi, you have 60 days to transfer your out of state motorcycle license. You’ll need to visit your nearest Mississippi DPS office to do so. You may be able to waive the written and skills portion of the exam if you already have a valid license from another state. Contact the nearest DPS location for more details.

You can schedule classes with them that include classroom time, on cycle instruction as well as written and skills tests.
