Gaining the knowledge and skills to cooperatively use our streets and highways along with other motorists is required if you want to be a safe driver. When operating a motor vehicle you need to be aware of everything around you including emergency vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists. It can seem like a good idea to try to beat the light or squeeze in ahead of another driver, you must keep in mind you’re not the only one on the road. When you think safety first and focus on sharing the road you can help to keep everyone out of harm’s way.
