Georgia Sharing the Road Test

All of the book learning in the world can’t get you ready for real life driving experiences and learning to be part of the driving environment and sharing the road with others. Gaining the knowledge and skills to cooperatively use our streets and highways along with other motorists is an important part of being a safe and responsible driver. When you are behind the wheel, it’s important that you’re paying attention to your surroundings including changing weather conditions and cyclists, pedestrians, and other vehicles. While it can be tempting to squeeze in front of another car by flooring it, it is important to remember other drivers have a right to their safety as well. Staying calm and making good decisions can help to keep everyone safe.

We all must do our part to ensure everyone gets where they’re going safely. As a driver in Georgia, you have a responsibility to know how to share the roadways with others. Our sharing the road test has been developed to increase your knowledge and improve your awareness and make you a better driver.
