Florida Sharing the Road Test

All of the book learning in the world can’t get you ready for what it’s like actually being on the road and figuring out how to share the road. Gaining the knowledge and skills to cooperatively use our streets and highways with other users is necessary to be a responsible Florida driver. When operating a motor vehicle you need to be aware of the driving conditions and be prepared to yield to other vehicles, pedestrians, and even animals. While it can be tempting to try to beat the light or squeeze in ahead of another driver, it is important to remember that everyone has a right to use the road safely. By being patient and following the rules of the road, you will help keep your fellow Florida motorists out of harm’s way.

We all must do our part to ensure anyone on the road makes it home safely.
